Finally got got a external H.D.
A Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini 160 gig.Even thought I've read where Maxtor has more problems than some of the others,I could'nt resist the price.
This guy I know said he had several layin around that he did'nt need,so he gave me one.
I really dont know what the Safty Disk is for,but I may not need it anyway.

I mainly just wanted one to back up my pictures.

I have several hard drives

At home, I back up my desktop with a 500 GIG Seagate and a 320 Gig Iomega external hard drive.

I just purchased a 120 GIG seagate portable hard drive which is small and weighs only 8 ounces. This is to back up my images when I am shooting on the road. That way, I will have my images on my notebook hard drive backed up bythe 120 GIG external drive.

120 Gigs is usually enough for me on any trip since, I transfer to my desktop computer and the 360 Gig and 500 Gig drives when I get home. The price was decent also at under $60 with shipping included.

Well, considering I shoot fine JPEG 99% of the time,it'll take me along time to fill it up.Plus I dont shoot as mush as most of you.

I have images back to 2005 when I got my first DSLR,A.K.A.,the Digital Rebel and only got around 14 gigs in My Picyures. And most of those are snapshots that really dont matter if I keep or not.I just keep'em to play around with in PhotoShop.
