Do I need to control the Manual Zoom at the Slave unit?

Hello all.
I'm just starting to use a off camera flash (2x 580exII) and I was wondering if you have to change the manual zoom of the slave unit, and if there is a way to do that by the master unit?

You can change the slave's zoom to tighter for like hair light, but most of the time I use a modifier like an umbrella with the slave, I leave the zoom at default, which is 24mm.

No, you can't change the zoom on the slave from the master.
