Just got one off Ebay for $29.00

I bid on about 10 of em before I got one for a low price.

Anyway, I'd like to get something that would allow me to take photos underwater. Or at least enable me to take it in my parents 5' deep pool.

I've looked at the Canon underwater cases and they're like 5 times what I paid for the dang camera. Any alternatives??

Yup, there are some DIY instructions out and about. I've thought about doing this myself and my A70, but haven't tried it yet.

Here's a one involving double bagging the camera with condoms:

Here's a more dignified one:

If you just google it, you might find a few more. It seems like most of them have video cameras in mind.

Get one of these. When I was in Korea at the water park, almost everyone was carrying around a version of this. Worked well even in a wave pool.
