hi all,

I don't know how to call it. but how do you guys make this soft images, usually used for weddings/brides. like there is some sort of glow over it...
I mean is there one specific filter for it or anything else?

I'm using CS2 btw.

Thanks in advance

Try to balance glow amount and clear amount (7 is a decent number), I keep the grain amount to the lowest level just because I don't like the grain. A good thing to do after you add this filter is to give your colors a boost too with some saturation because it sucks some color out.

Post up your results :)

Oh and remember to duplicate your layer before adding the filter to it! That way you can lower the opacity and play with blending, gives the haze more depth :)

yea..thanks indeed. I always duplicate my layer anyway, but thanks for the advice (you mean by changing the opacity and all that at the new layer right? so you actually let the original pic stay intact?)
