shooting a golfer...testing it out tonight

i am going to shoot one of my friend swinging a golf club.

what do you guys recommend

AI servo?

center focus?

i plan to shoot in m mode.

I recommend avoiding golf altogether! :p

I typically use the following settings:

manual exposure
center point focus (on the golfer's torso)
AI servo
burst

I think that with golf it's still very much more important to work on your timing to capture contact (or a point close to it) than it is to shoot a lot of frames. I also prefocus to get close before the first shot.

timing is everything - try for contact or the top of the backswing.

+1 for centre point at the torso.
