Hoya ND Filters - Any good?

I know that the Hoya Pro1 CPL DMC are pretty good, but what about the Hoya ND filters? I'm looking for a decent set (x4, x8) but don't want to go overboard price wise. HVStar carries these two, and I was wondering if someone could give me some feedback, or otherwise, recommend other good brand(s) at a decent cost...

I am sure they are as good as any other filter, the HMC coating is the same as the coating on your Pro 1 DMC, though of course there are less glass layers with a non-CPL filter.

Be aware most filter manufactures (Hoya and B+W included) only provide the higher ND in the standard single coat anyway. Check their brochures for details. You should find links to their brochures in the Protective Filter FAQ linked below.
