Looking for a second flash for use off-camera and have the option to purchase a Nikon SB-28 for $90. Is it worth it? If I don't pick this up I will either be picking up a new Sunpak 383 or a used SB-24 (both about the same price).

I'm new to flash photography and having trouble figuring out the bottom line on this purchase.

Thanks.

i was in the same boat about 2 weeks ago... i was really digging the SB's. i ended up going with a 430EZ for $70. it really depends on your budget cuz all of the flashes will do about the same in manual. the recharge rate is what it came down to for me. if i could have got a SB-28 for $90 i went have went with the SB
