The man in brown came by today with a truck load of boxes. I couldn't wait to get those boxes open. I have to say the folks at AB don't waist any time getting stuff sent out. Once my card was processed it took 2 days to get my Busy Bee starter kit
. Overall it was petty easy to set up. Everything worked liked it was suppose to once I unplugged the remotes from the lights to let the slaves work like they were suppose to.
Keep in mind that last week the only thing I knew about strobes was that they made a neat popping sound when they flashed when you look at these. I had to do some guessing on the setting because my light meter hasn't came in yet (not that I would really know how to use it yet anyway
). I played around for about an hour (my models where getting tired) with several different variations of light settings. Here's some of the better ones.
These are straight out of the camera with just a jpeg conversion, resizing, and one was cropped.
