After reading the posts regarding 40Ds bad this and bad that thought I better see if the new body can focus after all, dropped into the local model airplane field and spotted
several planes in place and did some test shots with my 20-35L Lens, and 28-135IS
LENS that i had with me.

as you can see I am happy with the resulting shots in spite of panning and a focus point a bit in front of the moving planes.
The 1.6 factor with the 135 gives me 216 focal length and was suitable for the test.
