'New to the forum. Thanks for having me. I'm headed to Seattle for a quick business trip next weekend. I'll have some time between meetings to shoot downtown, but I'll have one full day to go out and shoot anywhere in the area. It's been recommended that I go to Mt. Rainier. Any suggestions from forum participants? If I do Rainier, any tips on prime shooting locations? Thanks much. Bob

Welcome to POTN!
You used a "good" title, so be sure to look at the "Similar Threads" links at the bottom-left of this page, too.

You don't need to leave Seattle to get great shots. I would plan to be on one of the ferries either early morning or dusk to get some great shots of the city with the Rainer in the background though. You can also go to the point opposite downtown past the intermodial yard for some great shots.

But there is tons of photographic fodder in Seattle.... no need to venture far.

Thanks, Mark. The iconic shot from Kerry View Point Park that I've seen in publications looks appealing too.

Have you been to Rainier, Mark? In case we do make it there.
