Leo, I did try what you are saying with both PWII & MM spent the wholee BB season trying it and the results were to inconsistent. The remote cam would work but the relay would not fire the strobes every time. Since I was shooting for Conference USA WBB I needed it to be consistent.

Nikon D4 and 60 2.8D Micro, 24-70 2.8G, 70-200 2.8G VRII, 200-400 VRII, SB800, SB600, Pocket Wizards, 4x WL-1600, Quantum Turbo 2x2, Sekonic 358 meter, TT AS, Takeoff, Belt System

I have a PW II on the cam I am shooting witch is set to chnl 3, 1 PWII to fire 4 strobes set to chnl 3. If I used 1 PWII on the remote cam as a relay to receive and send, it would have to be set to the same chnl (3) and this would cause the remote cam to be fired every time I used the cam in my hand, in essence the remote cam would capture nothing since the action is at my end. The way I have it set up I can fire the remote with a hand trigger. I did try the relay mode in the MM's last year and found it to be inconsistent.

So you have 4 PWs in this set up?
1 on Channel 1 in your hand to trigger Remote Camera
1 on Channel 3 on your In Hand Camera to trigger arena strobes
1 on Channel 1 to receive at the remote camera
1 on Channel 3 to transmit from Remote Camera to Strobes?

That is correct plus 1 in the rafters chnl 3 set on receive to set strobes off

Yep, forgot about that. How many lights do you use? Also dont you find it anoying not having the 24-70 and second body with you at the other end? What body/lens combo do you hand hold?

I have 4 strobes one in each corner, they are all connected with 500 ft of zip line (12/2 lamp cord) so 1 PW will trigger all. I really don't miss having the 24-70, I tend to shot tight any ways so the 70-200 works for me.
