Wolverine FlashPac 700 vs. Digital Foci Photo Safe II

Opinions? I'm looking at both of these 80gb models and can't decide. I'm getting this for travel, namely my upcoming trip to Istanbul. During the day I want to have the device in my bag to upload as I go, probably uploading about 8-12gb per day, and then at night transferring it to an ext. hd (using a laptop) so that everything is backed up in two places. Anybody have experiences with both of the devices (or either) to help me out?

I just saw the photo safe II myself and for $139 thats not a bad deal as all I really need is a place to dump my flash cards toand I dont need to view them. Anyone have any info on it?

Reviews on amazon for it look really bad. Think Ill be passing on this one and holding off for a new laptop.

Well I hope those reviews are two anomalies, given how great the previous version's reviews were...I just went ahead and got one. Hope I didn't ask for disaster by doing so....
I don't know how i missed those when I did my searches, because other than those two reviews, it looked like the Photo Safe was more highly regarded than the Wolverine stuff and has gotten lots of great reviews in things like pop photo.

Well I just got it in the mail, and also just got an Epson P-5000 on loan from a friend...
Just holding these things in my hands, I can really feel a difference--the Epson is phsycially larger, but also feels MUCH sturdier and like it's a better built item. The Photo Safe feels a bit plasticy. However, for the difference in price, it makes sense--something would be wrong if the Epson didn't have better build quality. Haven't used the Photo Safe to upload any cards yet, but so far the Epson has done so perfectly...it's been quick and today during a photo shoot it was nice to upload cards mid shoot and be able to show the client the images on a bigger screen then the camera has.

I'll make sure to post again once I start using the photo safe.
