Is there a lens hood other then the EW 83E that will work on the Canon
10-22mm lens?

I use the EW 83H from my 24-105L. Its bigger than the 83E but I've not experienced any vignetting even at 10mm. I tend to shoot my 10-22 at f/6.3 or f/7.1 so I don't know if it would vignette wide open

Mine vignettes noticeably at all apertures -

I use the Canon EW-83II lens hood designed for the 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 on my 10-22 and it works very well and takes less space in the bag. I think it looks nicer too. I don't find any vignetting at 10mm.

the 10-22 doesn't really benefit from a lens hood. arguably you could use the one designed for the 17-40L but don't expect any noticeable improvements. the 10-22 is extremely resistant to flare by itself. i've never encountered flare in over one year of use.
