Diablo Freeride Park... What Do you guys think? Advice, Crit welcomed.! i decided to use Shadow/Highlight in photoshop and overwrote some of the images by mistake.... Lesson Learned...

Cool photos!
To me, they are a bit over exposed and missing some true blacks.
Here is some quick adjusting I did. I don't know if you'll like it, but I think it takes care of some of the midday harsh lighting and haziness:

Terminator... the images came out Crisp, but i decided to use Shadow/Highlight in photoshop... and accidentally overwrote them....

I also played with the first photo... bringing up the color knocked the hase down... but to make the rider pop I think these needed a shorter DOF... so I faked that to help show how it might look... I feel now the rider pops much better

heh heh! Shadow and highlights is one of the things I used to correct your photo.
I see that you added to your original post. that added pic has way better colors.

I agree with the poster above about the look with the shallower depth of field by blurring the trees. I thought of that as well, but I more wanted to demonstrate the color and black level aspect of the photo.
I do think that the blurred trees yeilds a better photo in this case.
Nice photos though!

I too chicken to do freeriding. So I stick to regular trailriding. :lol:

Great work. I find sometimes it's just as fun to shoot the action as it is to ride it. That first guy needs to get off the TLD addiction though. lol
