I took these July 4th in Alexandria, MN at Viking Speedway (external link). I had just gotten my 1DMkIIN in the mail the day before and this was my first attempt at auto racing and panning. Actually did better than I though I would, but still have lots of room for improvement. All shot at 1/125s, as that seemed to be about my panning limit.

Corey Crapser (external link) 2007 Wissota Street Stock National Champion. This is his rookie year racing Wissota Modifieds. He finished 4th in the heat race here after starting 8th, but had a rough feature. Had a few beers with him and his crew after the races, heck of a nice kid.

These weren't my best of the evening, but I am related to this driver. His name is Thad Jensen, and this is his first year back racing after spending the last 10 or so years in the pits.

I am going to get a poster made out of one of the 3 above shots for Thad, but would like some input on what to do with them. C&C much appreciated.

You did a good job avoiding getting the vertical lines in the middle of the car, but i still find it distracting with the fence.

Some of my best pans had the darn fence posts right through the cab. :( These were some of the better ones.

Thanks for the comments guys.

If you guys were to get one of the last 3 printed, which one would it be? I'm leaning towards 3. These are all uncropped, so I do have some room to crop them.
