I saw this amazing picture, and was wondering how it was done. A group of students stand around but with a CS Polar Filter it looks like they were standing on their own little planet. A very neat effect.

I found this tutorial
, it is missing a few important facts. For your final image to be "planet" like you have to:
- Have to have a nice panoramic composed already.
- Each shot/combination of shots must include a uniform sky or ground that you can convert into the "planet". If you just shot at eye level you may not get the ground or sky depending on your focal length.
- The height of the panoramic is the key, width is important as well but not as much as height.
- To get the inner (last picture of the tutorial) don't do the 180 rotate.
- Make sure you lock exposure. Manual focus may not be a bad idea either.
