how do i save a hdr to jpeg?

i tried to save a hdr photo and there is no jpeg option

What software are you using?
Try opening it in photoshop first.

i created the hdr in photoshop

Is it in 8-bit ? Anything above that can't be saved as a Jpeg. Convert to 8-bit and I would presume that it would work.

Photoshop won't save as a JPG if you have several layers. You have to flatten your image first.

Try save as for web and devices, that will save the visible image regardless of layers...

It will if you use "Save as".
However, since the OP is talking about an HDR, I'd assume the correct answer would be that its 16bpc.
