This past weekend down by my beach house my friend wanted me to take some pictures of his car for his. This one was one of my favorites and I thought it came out really well.

Something seems to be missing from the picture, but I am not sure what. I cropped just to the right of the car and then right above the car too. Looking for suggestions as to improve the picture. Thanks a lot!

I'm no expert in car photos, thats for sure. but from first glance, while the yellow lines give a good sense of environment, it also puts the car in the background of the shot. the distance also makes it hard to really get a sense of detail on the car which might be adding to that "missing feeling" from it. ill be interested to see what others think.

It's an interesting angle, but as Chester said, it's more of an "environment + car shot" than a "car shot". Plus, you have bad reflections from several poles in the side. The building & trees are reflecting in the hood & windshield which I think also takes away from the car.

Thanks for the response with the link PhotosGuy. I have been practicing this week and will post up some shots later on today. Shots are more focused on the car rather than something else + the car in the shot.

I would have moved the car forward a tiny bit so that you don't have to see the car parked behind it, but otherwise its looks good to me.
