I think the photos themselves are perfect... like the lighting and angle... only thing I would want is more complex "tricks"...

Mate, I think the lighting is perfect. The use of flashes is excellent. My only comment would be about the cropping of the shots. The subject in both shots seems a little centered, making them not as interesting as they could be. Overall awesome work though.

I'll have to disagree making these looser or using the thirds rule, would not make these look any less boring... not knocking the photog or skater, all that could make these more exciting would be more exciting skating...

Different angles would help make these a lot more interesting. Anything to make the photo more dramatic, especially when working with a sub-par (to photograph) spot.
