Hi All

Not sure that this qualifies as Motorsports ~ he was certainly racing but others at the Brooklands 100th Aviation Anniversary event were running far more sedately. The look on his face and the apparent struggle on the wheel are something to see and as for burning rubber on what I surmise are crossply tyres  Oh and how the hck he keeps that hat on

#1 is rather spoiled for me by the armco . #2 is a good action shot BUT what has happened to your colour balance? I have seen that car many times and it isn't pink!

Hi Glenn

Yes, sadly the arrangements now at Brooklands using the M-B test track leave one heck of a lot to be desired ~ i.e. wired and barriered with blue & white water filled 'thingies' the Highways guys use) at just about eye level when viewing from the grass strip :(

Re colour balance ~ pink??? The light on the track was very harsh and in the main auto WB has served me well (outdoors?) but this to me is red, granted very dirty red and the whites/blacks (none of which are pure) all come virtually correctly when "checked". I am sure that the colour I see is what it 'looked' like  I am waiting to get a new calibrator for the screen though!

Here is his "statement" This one was taken in shadow.

I bet the sound of that thing was something to cherish too :) Just love the look on his face in that second shot.

Oh yes, quite some 'noise' especially when he burns the fuel in the exhaust pipes
