with the first one you are either going to want to cut off the guy's left eye entireley or include it in the frame. i see were you were going with it, but a better crop would get you there.

the second one looks like he is giving... never mind i cant post that here, but a diffrent angle would have helped this photo alot.

i like the idea with the third one, but you need to light up his face a little better. i want to see the smoke!

it might be just me but when u shoot someone from higher angle and they look upwards (showing the bottom whites of their eyes) its more like "innoncent/cute" kinda look. works great for hot girls and kids but for a guy??.... id pass.

Hmmm on the first one I would crop out the second eye and a little space on the left and go BW with a high pass filter at like 80% opacity?? Maybe mess with curves a little. Dodge the eyes just a smidge.?
The second one I just dont care for. The angle and the positioning of the subject are unflattering.
The third one is the best out of the three. I would love to see what it would look like with a little cropped off the left side. and some fill flash.
If you turn your image editing OK on people can show you some ideas. It may help a little more.

The first one (in the last post) is very good, the second I think is cropped too close. I bet a black and white conversion would look good as well!

They look a little cool on the color temperature (not much, just a tad), but I would do something like this:

A little color adjustment, curves, added a little grain.
