Hello All,

I am not sure if this is the right place for this questions. Moderators, please fell free to move it if it is not. I will post the same thread in the "Business" section just in case.

Here is my question: What site is great for posting your wedding pictures so that extended family members and friends can view. They can then either send me an e-mail or call me for their orders.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

Cordially,
Ben

you might want to look at zenfolio.... you could upload pics there for family and friends to look at and even purchase from there.... You could also choose to fulfill the orders yourself or have MPIX take care of it.

Thanks! I will check them out. Do they have a good reputation? I have heard that places like Flickr do use/sell your photos without your permission!

Two free ones that I can think of, right off the bat:

- Picasa from Google (external link). You get 2gb of space, which is shared between all of your google apps (mail, docs, etc). If you don't use any other google apps than you get 2+ gb of space for your pics.

- Kodak Gallery (external link) is the other, unlimited number of photos but someone has to order 1 photo every 12 months.

Yea, they have a really good reputation. I actually use them for my personal work as well my work for family and have been incredibly happy.

If you do a search on this site you'll find tons of info on zenfolio.... This site is what lead me to find and sign up for zenfolio!

Thank you all for the great information. I will take a day to read and sort out the pros and cons.
