In 3 different places! Damn, I've been too busy shooting these past few weeks to even notice it. Its sad to see how poorly these bags are constructed.

Anyone know of a suitable replacement?

Where did it rip? You might find an adequate replacement but why not just have PCB replace it?

How old is yours? Under what conditions did it rip? I've never seen any negative posts about the bag.

Call PCB and let them know - you shouldn't complain until you talk to the manufacturer, use some common sense..........

It ripped from the 1st light stand buckle, and the 2nd is from the orange stripe on both sides.

My friend called and they replaced his no charge, so I'm expecting the same.

I'm only complaining because the quality of the bag sucks, if it gets replaced its not going to be long before it rips again. Mines about 6 months old.

Ahh I see.. I didn't even think those were light stand buckles. They don't look like they would support the weight so it never occurred to me.

Just get it replaced and try hanging it from the stand rather than clipping it to the riser.

I feel your pain. If you do find a replacement that is a good fit and feels solid please let us know.

I haven't had any problems with mine. I typically carry it by the handle on the top and rest it on the ground when in use. I have sandbags as weights and I don't use the V2 for that purpose. Unfortunately it would seem that stressing the stitching and joints is what will show the weaknesses in the bag.

Well, not for anything - but AB's stitching on their products is somewhat "inexpensive" if you know what I mean...

Yup, I sure do Mike. I could have gone with the Tronix and its bag but suuport from the Philippines didn't sound like a great idea to me and with PCB's customer service I pretty much figured that if I had problems they would take care of it quickly under warranty.

The V2 performs as it should and I can't find anything to b*tch about as far as power or convenience. I travel with my V2 but it doesn't get a beating as it might with other people and in other locations.

We'll see what happens as some time passes.

The flash bags that I got for might lights ripped really quickly too. The lights have metal tabs which rips the thin plastic. The AB lights are great, but their accessories aren't so hot.

Just got my replacement bag in the mail today... the zipper is broken!! Damn it. I called them and they are going to send me another bag.

Great customer service I may say, but at this rate they are going to spend more on replacements and shipping than the actual cost of the bag itself.
