For those in the know is the sensor in the A6I0 of a higher quality than that of the 870IS? I've noticed that the IQ and dynamic range with the A610 seems a bit better than that of the 870IS.

I'm looking for a p&s for somethin glight to carry around and loved the A610, I wish I kept it, but I wanted to get a DSLR and needed the money. I'd be interested in what would equal the 610 now. photos
