There is a speedring that will fit on these heads, but it is a bit clunky.

It does not rotate.

Photoflex did sell one, but I am not sure they do now.

It is for a four support softbox that has 5/16 inch ends that plug into holes on the speedring.

This speedring work OK for smaller softboxes, but is a pathetic solution for a large softbox.

The bare bulb Novatron heads accept a different speedring that is far more accommodating and functional.

It looks like the light head mounts to the stand adapter and the speedring slides into the hole for the umbrella. Then lock it down like you would an umbrella.
