Hey all, my first reception went great. Now as part of my introduction into the wedding related photography world.

Now since this was for a friend, I wanted to see what I could offer and then base my prices from there. As part of that, I decided to add a video of still from the day.

If people are interested, you can view a very rough version on here - http://www.clarity-rebirth.co.uk/PB/ (external link)

My friend has a copy of this to look over and have already noted the blurry pictures, non PP'ed ones and the cut off heads which I will correct during my processing period.

Of course this is rough but I am also inlcuding a 36 page book which is about £30 as a wedding gift to them once photos have been processed and selected.

They have so far been happy but as a client or potential client, would things like this interest you?

Thanks
Mitesh

One thing I would do is get rid of the video part or have an option for people to skip past images. I got tired of watching it after the first 2 images. I think a standard web gallery works best for proofs.

Ah sorry, I did not include it in my original post clearly. This video is going to be submitted as part of a proof gallery where the client can cycle through the photos manually. The video is more just a quick sum up of their day.

There is buttons on that but need to move them (can see the tips of the boxes on the bottom left). I think it’s a nice way to sometimes display an event if done right (minus the lack of edits for now) since a lot of people are on MySpace or Facebook. They can share it with others without having to spend hours building it themselves.

whew that took time but yeah, id remove all the oof and the cut off head shots. id only want my clients to see ONLY the best shots, not everything. id also make sure every shot is pp to perfection!
overall the shots came out great. u caught all the fun and events nicely. id just try up your iso so u dont have as many blurry shots next time.

re: slideshow. u need a button to turn off the music and a controls button to pause/stop etc. makes viewing easier.

Thanks, I just picked out about 50 just finished PP. Going to also add the controls properly now. Expect another version shortly. Will post it in a little while once done.

Many thanks.
