I upped the size a tad for the web and the action for the frame in PSCS3. It might be something happening between there that you can see, but it looks fine on my screen here for what it was meant to view on a forum. It's only a small file and if I enlarge it it will pixelate somewhat. The RAW file is in Calgary though . . . canonloader Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 15, 2008 09:52 | #5 OK, I use CS3 exclusively, and I know it does not leave artifacts when sizing down. It has to be the free program. I should have explained, I have a Microsoft Mouse with a button to open a magnified view. It's pretty much like any magnifier though, too much and it pixelates, but I can see the "stretch marks" artifacts around some of the trees and the leading edge of the clouds. When I have to size and resize and adjust a bit in CS3 with that size it's a little tough to get it looking like the original processed RAW file I wish I had. Gonna get him to bring his pics home on a disc so I can play properly. He's got a shot of a young doe in the same field. I just wish I had been there too . . . canonloader Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 15, 2008 10:07 | #7 I hear ya on the film. I had to get out of it/lost interest in the late 80s cause of the price of film and the short lifetime of it if you don't have a climate controlled vault to put them in. Then when digital came out, I waited for some decent sensor sizes and got back in with both feet. I love it. Mitch- ____...^.^...____

Used a Hasselblad 500C/M when they first came out in the early 70's and then picked up a used Rolleiflex tele TLR a few years later. Nothing like shooting and then waiting patiently to get some lab to print them so you can see how badly you messed up. Got tired of that and started to do all my own color in the late 70's and believe me that was a chore. Went digital a couple of years back to get involved with photography again. Started with a P & S first and then an XTi after that. Recently jumped to a 5D and love every minute of this digital thing. Soooo easy now. If you get and "oops" . . . . awww - I'll PS that later. I love it . . .
