Does anyone know if there is a place in Myrtle Beach that rents camera lenses? I will be vacationing there soon and would really like to pick up a lens or two for maybe just 1-3 days.

On a second note, what online lens rental site would you suggest to go through as far as prices and customer service?

Lensprotogo. google it for the address. Dealt with them once or twice. Easy to deal with and would do so again.

They are not in myrtle beach, don't know of any place there that rents lenses.

The site above you could probably give them the address of where you are going and can ship the lens there and mail form there when you are done.

Better probably trying to get it mailed to your home first though.

Just rented a 70-200 f4 non IS. The lens came on time and the lens was in "like new" condition. $67 for one week with shipping and insurance. Can't beat that!

Charleston's a two hour drive each way. If you cannot find anything in Myrtle Beach -- we own a condo there, and I do not know of any lens rental places -- you could also try Wilmington, NC. It's only an hour from MB.

There is a shop called Beach Cameras in downtown Myrtle Beach, but I do not know if they rent equipment. You could call them at 843-839-3456 and ask.

I have used them several times and they have the lenses and price to beat most of the other places I have rented from so far (they also have insurance).. Roger and Crew get two thumbs up and I will continue to rent form them when I need to rent.

I used www.lensprotogo.com (external link) with positive results. They have the new Canon 800mm f/5.6 for rent. Something everyone should try!

I used http://thelensdepot.com/ (external link). Their prices are great, the lens was perfect, delivery was fast, and the owner, Oscar, sometimes post discount codes on PTON.
