i was all set to buy a sigma ef 500 or 530 super. and found this flash listed. is it any good or does the even cheaper price over the sigma mean its junk. also does anyone know if the fx-2 better beamer works with the sigma ef 530. it states it works with the ef 500?

For the most part, a flash is a flash until you get into the specifications (guide number, recycle times), usability features (zoom, bounce, button layout/controls, ability to group with other flashes), and build. Compare the specs to the Sigma. If they're all or mostly the same, it's likely to be a cheaper clone kinda like the generic battery grips.
