mostly good...there was this one real tall meany head who kept saying "why are they exhibiting these shots when MINE are so much better".

And I see that reading down a bit... that this meanyhead wears size 15s as well! hehehehehe

You seem like you're saying I shouldn't... but then I'm not even sure if I should...

Nope...I think you should....but under last year's rules...you would not have been able to enter any of the fire shots....

which photo?

I ordered my fair ones from mpix and am loving that lab. I don't have them color correct and am thrilled that my photos look the same on my monitor as they do printed up.

scotlet scotlet scotlet...it was just a courteous inquiry.

I'm not printing up any more canvas at least not until I find the perfect photo for it. I didn't really like how that one printed (they did a good job but I just didn't like it).

....any tips on parts of it that are a must see?

If you do nothing else, go to the south rim drive and have a look at some or all the overlooks - they are all different. If you can make it around sunset or sunrise, that makes the lighting that much more dramatic.

A short hike (1 mile) down South Kaibab Trail to Cedar Ridge will take you below the rim and afford you even more spectacular views up and down the canyon. ALWAYS take plenty of water with you below the rim and go early or late in the day if it is between about April 15 and October 15. For the whole deal, though, hike the eight or nine miles down to Phantom Ranch, across the river. It's not only scenic, but historic. It isn't recommended to make the round trip in the same day but we used to do it several times a year until we moved away, eight years ago, and I was almost 65 then.

Otherwise, there is the Mogollon Rim, Salt River canyon, and all of southeastern Arizona and the Sonoran Desert. A photographer could spend several lifetimes in Arizona and not use it up.
