T.D. Moderator More info | Permagrin wrote in post #5999896 did you guys see that someone else had THE SAME problem (not with an 8gb though) with a silicon power card and a mk2? That's so interesting to me because I've never had a problem with these cards. I'm sure it's the card though, now. It must just not be working right with the older bodies because it works great on the new ones. https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=539631 Glad to see your issue was validated by someone else. How very strange that it's specific to that brand. Gorgeous! belmondo wrote in post #6000557 Note to Chris: If you EVER took your camera somewhere, please make today the day.
Permagrin wrote in post #6000569 NO way am I giving him any blackmail opportunities Dang! timbernet wrote in post #6000641 I can't believe you have to submit them so early -- a lot of counties haven't even had their fair yet.... Judging is this coming Saturday, then the fair starts in 3 weeks. They're dealing with major volume (between 1200-1800 prints just in the Salon - that's not counting Juveniles and the International competition). timbernet wrote in post #6000676 I thought about entering, but it wasn't worth my time. Not everyone is an internationally known photog. We need every little bit of feedback we can get. timbernet wrote in post #6000700 Nah, it is just, I would have to pick some prints, get them printed, fill out the forms, drive to Salem, wait, get them submitted, pick them up later... for what? A ribbon? Or you could mail them. Permagrin wrote in post #6001709 mostly good...there was this one real tall meany head who kept saying "why are they exhibiting these shots when MINE are so much better". Hater.:p FuryMe wrote in post #6001723 I think I know of whom your speaking. But I've never been romantically linked with said person, so I'll just stay outta that one. Dood. I'm thinking you're going to want to start engaging your brain before you engage your keyboard. Otherwise you end up with a rectal/cranial inversion. Not good. Not good at all. Permagrin wrote in post #6001728 dude, that makes two of us. I was talking about TD, NOT Puddle (my husband). LOL! Puddle's only 5'9" dripping wet. I'm 6'4"! Not nearly as much as the size 15s will. Just saying. timbernet wrote in post #6001913 I know - I am just building suspense I don't care what anyone says. No matter how many times you do it, it never gets old. poppie guy wrote in post #6002843 I haven't been involved with either of them... That's right, Mister!:p cfpackerfan wrote in post #6002943 Define "Involved" Um, given that Maxy is our child, I'm not sure this is a conversation you should Wade into.

I think on anything other than a 1Dsmk3, you will never see the difference. The added advantage to the original version is the 77mm filter size should you want to toss one on.
