Maybe I've never had any good salmon...everything I've ever tried here has had some kind of funky sawdust taste/texture thing going on....

I wonder if it just doesn't ship well or something. The smoked stuff is what has that funny taste/texture thing going on. The only other salmon I've had is the stuff in a can...with chunks of bone in it....nasty.

You haven't had good, quality stuff then Wool.

I was unloading salmon boats from the time I was about 10 on. I spent years taking it for granted (along with all other seafood).
