Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

I wish Jon was here...I need to know in the next 10 min if the domke F-3x would hold what I need it to...(I've got an auction I'm going to bid on for a billingham bag but the domke is so much less expensive, if it'll work) but I don't think I can have two cameras (one with a lens attached) in it...

Riley, if you're around, here is today's ski report, all shot from the same place. Looks like a good sized crowd for this time of year.

#1. Mt. Hood

no, I didn't bid...it went up $60 in 20 min. I just didn't want to pay $260 for a used bag.

The first shot.... was one of the guys overcome by heat being carried to the 6wheeler for transport up the hill to the waiting ambulance.... I will say that this shot will not go to my gallery... I want to respect the firefighters privacy even though you can't see his face... we all knew who it was... :( He was tended to by a paramedic and was up on his feet walking around the fire ground before the house was on the ground.... Thankfully...

The second... I've decided I don't like the shot very much but it's 4 guys from the department I used to be a member of :) I couldn't get close enough fast enough to really get a good shot... :S
