Beauty shots, Jen! Both here an on TPBM Chat. Nicely done. Makes me want to contact our local FD to see if I can score a shooting op.

Would you feel better if it wasn't deliberate? ;)

The house across the street from ours burned when I was 5. We were swimming at the river when we saw the smoke. The 5 year old girl who lived in the house was with us, and she started screaming and crying and took off running home. It was a bad situation.

Jen the one with the firefighter (in that last set) for me is the best yet.

Thanks Lisa! :)

Nice photos Jen. It always makes me a little sad to see a house burning, even if it's deliberate.

Thanks Mike :D I'd rather see it deliberate than not... this house was empty.... it's the true house fires that I find very tragic...

Riley, if you're around, here is today's ski report, all shot from the same place. Looks like a good sized crowd for this time of year.

Here's a couple more from the house burn.... These two were shot from the hill above the house (obviously ) The heat up here was super intense!

Nice work Jen.

At the lake today I was using the 100-400. While looking through the viewfinder, I noticed this couple about a 100 yards away looking at me. As I panned away I saw her take a photo of me, then turn away and pixel peep it. This is cropped, 400mm, hand held at 160th sec. As I learn to use this lens I think I'm going to like it a lot.

I think I'm going to buy this one

http://www.pelicanproducts.us …D.Exec.Series.PCS180.html (external link) (it's much less at B&H)

I like my pelican roller bag.

Shoulder bags wrecked my shoulder. I don't use them any more unless I absolutely have to. I think Domke makes the best shoulder bags, but I have only one, an original F-2. No, I'm not Jon in disguise...

Oh, I don't know about that. I think I had a cheeseburger the day I took the photo I posted in my last message.

Some people's moooos get decidely more attention than others. Mine barely cause a ripple. Wool's moooos stop traffic, cause strong men to faint, and are frequently echoed on the lips of future hamburgers everywhere.
