its fine it was a ok event it was too sunny both my partner and i hoped for a bit of cloud coverage and we also hoped to get some splatter shots but we didn't
i took a wide angle shot of the field with 3 people playing i think it is kind of cool i was thinking about crouching right behind the starting box and taking a wide angle breakout picture but i knew that i would get shot a ton and i allready got shot about 50 times
and got shot in the front element of my 70-200 so i did not

And for slightly better quality photos than those from my cell phone:

My friend, Josh, had his last day at Starbucks today. So his sister, my sister, another friend, and myself all drove up to see him on his last day.

So background for some of these photos... Our house has one smoke alarm that is connected to AC power. All the rest are battery powered.

Well - it started beeping once every minute at 7am...

Well, it is about 20' up in stairwell -- kinda hard to reach with a normal ladder.

So I had to build a platform that a ladder could fit on. Now, if you know me at all, you will know that power tools and I don't have TOO much experience together. I can drill things just fine and that is about it. Well - I used the saw and a few other tools to make this... and then I sent my sister up the ladder. We actually tried two of our ladders, then moved on to a neighbors taller ladder -- which couldn't be fully extended, so it was a bit scary... we finally replaced the battery (that lasted for 15 years, since it mainly used AC power) -- and it kept on beeping, so we took it out and will talk to some people tomorrow to see why it is still beeping.

Oh, and yes the stairs look gross, we are still building parts of the house, and the "real" stairs aren't in yet.

ALL SHOT IN JPEG!! with a cellphone

Good job, Scott. Nobody died?

Thanks --- it wasn't easy keeping focus... I wanted some better "in flight" shots, but it was such a cluttered background of flowers that the AF was getting confused.

I've tried the BIF shots... it's not easy... and I've not managed to be successful at it yet either.... so I'm very impressed!

Yeah... I have a Spyder Rodeo with a new barrel and a new bolt... it is pretty sweet.

Then I have a stock Tippmann 98 Custom... has a broken thread where the CO2 tank connects - so I need to find a replacement part for that one. But I like the Spyder more than the Tippmann
