Arenal Volcano - Costa Rica

Spent two weeks traveling around Costa Rica made a visit to Arenal:

The first image looks like a photo stitch attempt with different exposures. Just by looking at it, I don't see why you'd need to stitch it, and couldn't have done it with one photo.

Aside from that, I really like the second to last photo where the mountain is framed by the foliage. It's just too bad the sky is blown out, as it would benefit from an HDR.

Good shots. When I was there the sky only cleared for us for about an hour in the three days we spent near the volcano. I have great memories of staying at a small B&B on the side of the volcano and watching lava pour down the hillside at night.

The first image is a panography attempt; the original image being an 80" x 60" and is up on my office wall.

I tried HDR a few times, but the sky was washed out and there was no cloud definition, and was not happy with the results.
