I was not really comfortable taking this pic since i really had no "real" reason to be there! I had to drop some stuff off near the base, and my stickers were still good, so I drove around a bit looking.

That's usually my problem trying to ID birds! I may have had my Ap to high....trying not to blow out the sky. Ask yourself, "What's most important in the shot"? That's why I shoot RAW & generally use this: FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...

I thought....as a general rule, you meter the sunny blue sky on sunny days? So, I metered the sky, just above the horizon and it indicated a correct exposure. Bill
