Hi everyone! I was just wondering why some of the Gtizo tripods don't have a column on them. Is it for better support due to lack of the column? I was looking to upgrade to the 3530s or something similar in spec. Thanks in advance!

I am surprised at the rigidity of the center column as I do not notice any difference in rigidity even when it is extended to the top. Intuitively, you would think the center column would decrease rigidity, but that doesn't seem to be the case with the twist column that I own. In fact, the only wobbling I notice on the tripod comes from either the tripod ring on the lens or the gap between the body and the vertical grip.
