This is pretty much my first share on POTN so please don't hurt me too bad... ;)

So I was out in the back yard taking pictures of my wife and son playing around. We went in for the evening I quickly moved the images off the card and onto my computer to see if I had anything good (which is rare with me being new to this and my favorite subject being my 2 year old son).

I was looking through the pics and saw one that caught my eye. It was a standard, plain snap-shot of my son staring over at me, except that I noticed something weird. There was a line and a shiny dot in one of his eyes.

Upon further inspection I realized that I had got a pretty good reflection of what he was seeing...

The reflection is his arms extended out (the line I originally saw) onto the handle-bars of his tricycle. On the handle bars is a little bell (which was the shiny dot). Our yard and shed is also in pretty good view and you can barely make out my silhouette crouched in front of the shed taking the shot.

For quite a while I have been looking for a creative way to show off this image because it is the first of my own.
So my question is: What do you guys think? What would you have done differently to an otherwise kinda boring picture?

no criticism, constructive or otherwise? no thoughts about this or what I could have done differently with the picture?

Thanks

To me, the original photo is better than the crop.I still can't see what you are seeing.lol.you would need to get right infront of his face and focus on that eye.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Flo, did you look at the full sized version?

I guess the reason I am fascinated by this picture is because he was 1/2 way across the yard when I took this one and I was amazed at how clear the reflection was.

Anyways, thanks for the comment.

Hello?

There's got to be some bored people sitting in cubical land somewhere out there that wants to lend their opinion to this thread?

I like the image just the way it is.

The only change I would have made if i took it would be to leave the face in colour, or to make the image in the eye B+W also. I think if the 2 subjects of the image are not the same their is a risk that it could look a little fake.

But either way its very cool.
