Hi guys, been floating about for a few months, got my first dslr, a 40D in april, and am taking the plunge to show you some images from the weekend!
managed to blag a press pass!

Very nice shots there. Please spill on the lenses - is the first one the Canon 10-22? Also, how do you manage to get a press pass for this event (would dearly love to get one next year!!)

thanks dredd, actually these are all with the 17-85 kit...

i used a 70-300 for a few others as well.

i have a friend who is the editor of a car magazine, and managed to get one of his... =)

Nice sense of speed in #1
I think the desat look works good in #2 gives it the old feeling to it, i think maybe just a tad bit more color would make it even better.
#3 i would crop so the driver was on the left hand of the picture instead, think that would give it a bit more balance.
