not allowed where i work and living in the hot florida sun, i wouldnt want to leave it in the car either for 8-9hrs. cell phones with cameras used to be prohibited but since majority of phones comes with cameras, they finally allowed it a couple years ago.

I work for Technicolor in NYC so I try to bring my camera to work. Never know who or what I'm going to see at work.

Technicolor eh?

I spent a little time at their dub shop outside Detroit (and the High Speed facility outside Philly before they merged the two...)

Closest thing to a sweatshop I've ever seen in the video industry.

Not every day and not for work. Work is 25 miles from home on the opposite side of town. Almost everything I shoot is on the way home depending on the route so it makes sense to bring my gear with me.

Bill - A model needs careful lighting, professional makeup and expensive clothes to look as beautiful as any ordinary woman does to a man who has fallen in love with her.

I do because we have a nice pond with a surprising amount of wildlife in it. Just the other morning i saw three green heron sitting on the same limb of a tree, but they were too far away for me to get any shots. It was a cool sight though. Here's one of my facility:

I never bring mine. But there are a few times on my way to or from work I wish I had it. I would spend more time hauling into and out of the office than I would be be taking pictures....it is either too hot or too cold to just leave in the car.

I work in Manhattan so there is always something happening around here. I carry my camera to work quite often. Here is a pic from yesterday's All Star Game Parade.

I take my gear to work occasionally - but that's because I take off for an hour or so to hit a spot for lunch to take pictures...

Not allowed where I work and don't want to leave it in the car.

Hopefully my next engagement will be in a less sensitive area.

I don't take my SLR but i do carry my point and shoot everywhere i go in my pocket

Same here. Take my A590 with me. I sometimes see something worth taking a photo of during my commute (through the countryside, so it's no problem to stop). But, that said, I am retired and only substitute 1-2 days a week on average.

I would love to take my camera to work. But the zombies roaming around might destroy my kit!

On request

The "corporate communication" types struggle with the all glass office and lack of fill flash on their point and shoot ;)
