See.. Here's the trick to this conundrum...

He buys two packs of chocolate. One pack that he likes, and one pack that he doesn't (usually fillings of a fruit persuasion), and them eats the pack that he likes (unseen by the womenfolk).

Then, there is no guilt or jealousy in handing over the inferior flavoured chocolate.

okay, I'm re-thinking my previous comment :lol::lol::lol:

English chocolate IS indeed good. I've had it on a number of occasions.

I had some of the bestest English chocolatey carameley candy I ever had last year when Pete sent me a care package. I wish I could find a local supplier. They'd get rich offa me...

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Did I ever share this with you guys? (I came across it when I was looking for the sister picture)

This was our family dinner at Thanksgiving. Immediate family only.

It's only bad when they find the wrapper in the trash.

This is why I'm on trash duty every week...

I don't think I've ever had English chocolaty carmelly candy...or really any English candy before. I think I had some Scottish Toffee once though. FIL brought it back from Scotland.

Folks...

What's the best way of stopping slugs get to my plants and eating them? We've heard things about bark chippings, crushed eggshells, and copper. I think copper might be ok for trees, but probably not for the smaller plants.

Any ideas?

Opossums... ;) :rolleyes:

Seriously, possums love slugs and snails. Especially snails; "Ooohhh, crunchies..."

Thank you all...

that's pretty cool!! We didnt' have turtles to worry about but still, what a waste of beer and it could lead to awkward conversations with the spouse too...."hey honey, I need to buy a six pack cuz I'm having the slugs over tonight" "yeah, I'm glad to see you finally realized how they act!" .

:lol: :lol: :lol: I've known some people like that...
