I am not doing my day job at my day job.

Does this do anything for anyone?

Is it worth getting photoshop elements, just as a small starter to PPing?

I almost exclusively used elements at first. I now have Lightroom, CS3 and Elements. It's definitely worth having elements for sure!

*off to find fudge bar hidden in office freezer*

Yummmmm... That sounds good... I've got some sugar free ones in the freezer out in the garage... might have one as a snack... I don't have much of an appetite...

I am home.

Thankfully.

Good to be back.

How is everyone?

Welcome home Pete! I'm sore, tired and loopy ;) But feeling in a much better mood than I was yesterday! I even had a visitor today! Dan came by for a visit! :)

Pete wrote in post #5977497 (external link)
Folks...

What's the best way of stopping slugs get to my plants and eating them? We've heard things about bark chippings, crushed eggshells, and copper. I think copper might be ok for trees, but probably not for the smaller plants.

Any ideas?

I say beer... but you don't want to waste your beer... so I won't suggest that hehehehe I remember a jar lid being imbedded into the ground and filled with beer... guess you could buy the ultra cheap stuff... hehehehe

thomascanty wrote in post #5977540 (external link)
Well, then, I'm fresh outta ideas. I've also heard that strategically placed bowls filled with beer is a good deterrent, but if you're dealing with rain too, that probably won't work either. Besides, it's a waste of beer...

Yeah that ^^^^^

Pete wrote in post #5977600 (external link)
Beer's too important to use for slugs...

See I knew you'd say that! But I suggested it anyway!

OH and a HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY JOHN!!!!!!

I don't know just why, but I kinda like this one. It looks like the car was covered in Post-It's, and I can see them flying off as the wind overcomes the stickiness..
