aww Lonnie *hugs*

It just doesn't get easier, does it? Every day something reminds me of her and there I go crying again...

I wish Minnie had been able to live up to Ashley's standard...

Not even possible. And, to tell the truth, I wouldn't want her to be another Ashley. I just wish I could figure out what the hell is causing her bowel problems. It's been another bad week here. Her crate bed has been to the laundry room twice since Monday... Sigh...

Do you remember posting this one?

I just must quit skimming through the posts while trying to catch up. At least with Kit's posts. I missed that one, too!

Does this do anything for anyone?

Not really, maybe second curtain synch or a bit longer shutter speed would have given it just a bit more drama.

I just cleaned the fish tank and am eyeing the litter pan next, but I've gotta go get some more litter first. We are heading out to target soon, need to get a baby shower gift for Sunday.

Any update on the 50?

I've never been Kayaking. I've been in a canoe once...but I cannot swim. I can float but since I can't swim I'm rather nervous in water...mostly because I fall out of boats on a frequent basis...

A float vest works well in a kayak and/or canoe, I bet you would love it on a peaceful lake like Cat posted, if you felt you were safe.

Thanks Becky, but I don't know what second curtain synch is *ducks incoming bullets*. Sometimes typing a question can come over wrong because people can't hear inflections or see body language, so please don't take this question wrong. If I remember right it is at 1/40 (I don't have an EXIF view on the sales desk computer), how much slower would you suggest?

Go bulb. Five minutes, minimum. You might have to pick up some really strong ND filters, or just shoot at night.

I don't know about that. Five minutes isn't long enough for good star trails.

Wait... What were we talking about, again?

That would probably get me 3 laps. I really don't think, as good as I am, that I could track focus for 5 minutes around a 2.75mi track. But I'll try next year just to see what happens. I might better EC a couple of stops too.

<-- munching trader joe's chocolate covered peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets...mmm. I had to go get a few after the conversation turned.

Much as I don't care for peanut butter, I really like the filled pretzels...

Since we're on the topic of beer, I have a joke...

Folks...

What's the best way of stopping slugs get to my plants and eating them? We've heard things about bark chippings, crushed eggshells, and copper. I think copper might be ok for trees, but probably not for the smaller plants.

Any ideas?

I use hubby's 12 gauge myself. Makes for nice splatter :)

good grief, I can't keep up with all the chattering in here. Thank you to those who commented on my first decent moon pic. I haven't figured out how to do the multi quote thingy or I would of thanked you individually. :D

I read that thread "need professional help" and all I got to say is WOW! I can't imagine wanting to get the camera she was talkin about. It'll take me forever just to figure out my 40D :) ah well to each there own I guess ;)

Hope your all having a wonderful day!!
