Whenever I walk through the door I continue to expect to see Bear coming to greet me.:(

:(

My brother stopped by last night with his 3 little kids, and I told the girls to get the dogs a treat, so Danni (5 yrs old) ran in the kitchen and got 3 treats. Gave Ginger one and Amikah one, then started calling Cara. :(

I said, "Hon, Cara's not here, remember?"
She got all sad... it broke my heart.

I just hate losing a pet. Just recently our cattle dog had to be put down as she had cancer throughout her body.

Paula,

I knew I had one, this is with the 100mm macro f/3.5 1/250 ISO 100. I should have used a smaller aperature as his left eye is OOF (out of focus) more than I like, but; the shot was more about his black eye. :D

that's a wild thread...I can't imagine going from a P&S to the top camera canon has made and NOT understanding what 24-70 (or the like) even means.

I'm not knocking newbies, soooo far from it. But shoot, it's just crazy to pour that kind of money into something you aren't even sure you will be able to use.

I think my frustration with that entire thread lies in the fact that I'm busting my butt to learn what I have learned... I'd kill to buy a couple more lenses and upgrade to a 5D... And yet here is this woman who is about as clueless as they come and she's just going to pour her money into something she knows nothing about... She asks questions that indicate she doesn't have a clue as to what is going on... She makes it clear that money isn't an object... ARGH!
