Oo, so much fun. I love seeing this activity. But am sure glad I did not have to bear it myself. ;)

Hmmm maybe I was brought up wrong but was not aware it was improper to refer to someone as he if everyone knows who he is.

Yes, if the person is first identified this is true. But when she phones, her first question is "Is she there?". Maybe it is a Western Canadian thing (us rednecks are a bit different ;)), but I always ask for the person by name. :D

Eli will go into the living room and tell Billy "she said it was OK to watch Television" and we both correct him.

Oh I would use a name in that circumstance.

We had a bit of a positive side about Dad, he is on no meds, the only IV's he has are a saline solution to keep his liquids up, and some nitroglycerin which is fairly standard after a hear attack I guess. He first spoke this afternoon repetitively saying "Help me up" and this evening when I was in, I asked him if he wanted me to shave him, and he clearly whispered "Please". He still rarely has his eyes open, and then seems to have trouble focusing. The good thing is that he is moving into the right direction, and we can only hope that it keeps going that way. It is now over 6 days since the heart attack. He gets an EEG tomorrow, and an MRI in a few more days though he will need to calm down first, as he thrashes a lot right now trying, we believe, to get comfortable. I guess he needs his brain without sedatives to do the MRI properly and must stay still for over half an hour.

Anyhoo, I am beat, and am off to bed. I must get some work stuff done tomorrow as I am way behind.
