When loading images to smuggy, or anyplace why do the little loading bars say something like 10 hours or 50 seconds when it is like really 3 minutes?

The auction was shot in a dark barn under mostly florescent light at 3200ISO and wide open in most cases. I used my 70-200mm f/2.8, 24-70, and Leyla's 50mm f/1.4

Please tell me it is Teresa thinking.

Of course not, where would the fun be in that :-)

short5 wrote in post #6047450 (external link)
Hmmm maybe I was brought up wrong but was not aware it was improper to refer to someone as he if everyone knows who he is.

I am not sure what the rules are, or even if there are any rules (other than those enforced by my mother), I just know when I need to use a name and when it is acceptable to use he or she. I guess my mother got to influence my way of thinking from a very early age.

short5 wrote in post #6047469 (external link)
Something is distracting in that shot;)

And the distraction would be what.... exactly ?

short5 wrote in post #6047450 (external link)
I like color much better in this case. I showed Leyla who has spent time in the south of France and she said "she is not supposed to have a top on"

It only went on for the photographs, ask me nicely and I may let you see the others, or you may get yet another broken nose, dare you risk it?

short5 wrote in post #6047450 (external link)
Okay now correct my ignorance if you would. In the above statement should all the shes be dropped and names inserted?

I think even my mother would agree that "she" is acceptable in these circumstances.

We had a bit of a positive side about Dad,

Nice to hear some encouraging news, Jim. Hope you got some much needed rest and are able to tackle some of those annoying piles today.

I can't wait for my grandbaby

Reality has set in, eh? That anticipation is as much of a love/hate thing as when you're the expectent mommy...albeit without the discomfort of those last few weeks.:D

Count me in as another advocate. I started using one last winter. Fortunately I do not have allergies, but; use it at the first sign of a cold.

G'MAE all. Last nights storm really cleared the sticky air, however; it was short lived, now it is so thick you could cut it with a knife...very froggy out this morning.
