On the monitor note, I have to get one. I have $100 B&H certificate + around $200 or so to throw at a monitor. I am clueless. A 22" sounds nice, LCD or the one 17" CRT are my only options in my price range from B&H. Any thought or help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a strange affinity for fungus.

I like his style.
Deet for the fair? Is it in a buggy place?

I am a mosquito magnet and they are getting thick after a very wet summer. I could be in a room of 10,000 people and one mosquito and it will decide to bite me. I dislike the little buggers and I dislike having itchy bites. It takes a week for the itch to go away and 4 - 6 weeks for the wilt to disappear, so I invest in Off throughout the summer. AKA Camper's Perfume. ;)

I've been trying to get Heather to come in here so she can get a better idea of what goes on. Some of the stuff just gets lost in translation...

Skrim17 wrote in post #6053939 (external link)
It's funny you mention that John, my husband is pretty oblivious to this place and the goings on. I fill him in here and there but I don't think he really gets it. he enjoyed meeting Jim and Lisa and I talk to him about Deb but I still don't think he understands the sense of community and friendship that is here.

Same here with the wife. I've tried to tell her stuff that goes on here, and even asked her if she wanted to join as she was interested in photography before...but she passes all the time.
