I love the ending too. I wasn't expecting that at all.

And Marian looked SO pretty. I admit to maybe tearing up once. Or twice.

I was thinking the same thing about the diapers, Bobby. Eww.

And would you all think me a TOTAL mess, if I admitted to crying when the opening music started in Phantom? (And when the Phantom starts singing 'Music of the Night' AND when Raul sings to Christine, AND a few other parts. Couldn't help it)

I was a mess. Go figure. I decide to wear make up, and I cry it all off.

 I may have been alone. And I have SOME dignity... it was silent wetness on the cheeks. No actual sobbing.

I have dreamed of seeing Phantom for so many years, it was just AWESOME to see it live. Awesome. I have a pretty low threshold for the waterworks. ;)

Not at all. As a matter of fact, I've not yet seen any version of Phantom of the Opera. So I wouldn't really know why or what would have affected you in such a manner ;). I guess I am uncultured.

Ok, for you Phantom virgins... (sheesh!)

I have read the book.
I have listened to the music. I actually wore a CD out completely, and had to buy a new one.
I know all the songs by heart.
I bought the movie when it came out, and have watched it dozens of times.
I have DREAMED of seeing it live. Didn't think it would ever happen.

It was emotional to me. :p

The play itself is a great story of love and loss. It does get emotional in parts.
But the tears... those were all mine.
