Most of the time we just had the olympus with us. We got a few pics, they aren't great, but they are great. KWIM? ;)

Here's one to share tonight... I'll PP some later and share more.

FABULOUS!! You guys look great, I LOVE Marian's dress!

Ok, for you Phantom virgins... (sheesh!)

I have read the book.
I have listened to the music. I actually wore a CD out completely, and had to buy a new one.
I know all the songs by heart.
I bought the movie when it came out, and have watched it dozens of times.
I have DREAMED of seeing it live. Didn't think it would ever happen.

It was emotional to me. :p

The play itself is a great story of love and loss. It does get emotional in parts.
But the tears... those were all mine.

dork

ROFL!!!

She's used to people spelling her name like that. And Miriam, Mirrian, Mariann, Mirian, Marionn, Maryann, etc.
 Her 5th grade teacher called her Miriam for the WHOLE year.

spelling my name out it seems easy to hear how it would sound, but I've had it misspelled and folks calling me all sorts of variations. Chris, Christine, Christa, carissa...I rarely correct, just smile and mmmhmmm them.

DEB, where is Chestnut Ridge, NY in relation to you? Curt has a cousin living there taking classes in Eurhythmy training.

Are you sure it is NY? There is a Chestnut Ridge NJ. what is Eurhythmy?

NY according to an e-mail from her mom. Eurhythmy is a repetative dance technique, near as I can gather from Dictionary.com. I think she is planning to use it for therapudic purposes.

Good Morning All

Had a quick scan through the last day or so.

Dan, loved the Mod School strip.

And, saw a couple of Vegas Hotties. :D

Dad is slowly coming around, and by that I mean he is speaking some, though very hard to understand. He mostly complains about the pain he is in. He normally has chronic back pain. He lost an arm right up the shoulder socket when he was 19 from a shotgun blast, and got run over by a combine (big harvesting machine for those not farm savvy) was in his late 30's and had some severely crushed bones (was actually told he would not likely walk again, though did in less than a year. All this has really caused his back to be messed up, this is why he exercises all the time. His arm is still restrained so he does not start pulling at his tubes. They did a CT scan yesterday and say there is something abnormal they have to check out further, and need to do so before they can do an MRI which I guess will be more telling. So, though still in a terrible way, he is slowly coming back, the question will be just how far that he makes it in the end. Sorry to keep dumping this on you all, but it does feel kinda good to share for some reason.

Jasper is continuing to do great, though is really full o' beans. :D You can't imagine how much of a joy he has been for us right now. He is also a good distraction for my mom who is staying with us.

Good to hear Jasper is there for you, too. Should really help in solidifying the pack bound between you all. I'm glad you got a smartie with some vigor, sounds like he will fit right into your life style.:D

Deb I did a search on Chestnut Ridge (external link), it is actually really close to you! when I did the search I saw all the stuff about steiner and what not and the waldorf schools so I would assume that is where your niece is.

Thanks Deb.
The kids are great, though Caitlin knows nothing of her Grandpas ill's. She is 1 1/2 weeks into her 4 week Thailand trip, and we have decided to not let her know about it, don't want her feeling bad for not being home, and knowing how compassionate that girl is, she would be worried.
Work, well, lets just say I am now further behind then ever, with lots of potential stuff coming in.

The combine went right up on to his hip and stomach, they figure the prosthesis he was wearing saved him from being crushed worse, quite likely killing him. I was about 8 at the time.

I do need to get a few more shots of Jasper, and will share them when I do. :D
